Douce Bud Vase

The Douce Bud Vase softens the collection's signature glaze into something quieter still. Set against soft brown stoneware rather than dark, the familiar light blue and blue-grey glaze loses its edge, drifting and blending into the clay rather than standing apart from it. The result is warmer and more muted, less a contrast of colors, more a gentle merging of them.

Its form rounds full through the shoulder before narrowing into a slender, gently pinched neck, a classic silhouette softened at the rim by a subtle, natural undulation. Understated and warm, it holds a single stem with ease, equally at home gathered with the rest of the collection or standing alone.

As each piece is hand-thrown and individually glazed, no two vases are exactly alike. Variations in glaze movement and depth are part of each piece's character.
