Sillage Cup

The Sillage Cup began as a test piece and became something worth keeping. Its walls twist gently upward in soft vertical folds, tapering slightly before settling into an irregular, wave-edged rim, a form that looks caught mid-motion, as though water had left its trace behind. Glossy light blue and blue-grey glaze moves across the folds, pooling deeper in the creases and thinning along the raised ridges.

Small enough to hold in one hand, it works equally well as a cup or a mini vase, an unplanned piece that carries the same quiet movement as the rest of the collection.

As each piece is hand-thrown and individually glazed, no two are exactly alike. Variations in glaze movement and fold are part of each piece's character.
