Part of the Earthy Drift collection, the Strata Vase builds its surface in layers rather than strokes. Dark brown, white, green, and green celadon glazes move across the body in broad, atmospheric passages, closer to marbled stone than painted ceramic. At the edges, a flux light blue glaze is layered over the celadon, drawing it into unexpected bleeds of blue that surface unevenly across the form, no two the same.

The body rises full and round, gathering toward a narrow, rounded mouth and settling onto a compact foot, a shape that holds its glaze story like a landscape holds its layers, revealed gradually as the eye moves across it.

As each piece is hand-thrown and individually glazed, no two vases are exactly alike. Variations in glaze bleed, color, and layering are part of each piece's character.
