Suie Matcha Bowl #01

Part of the Fumée collection, the Suie Matcha Bowl takes the collection's smoky glaze to its deepest register. Glossy light blue and blue-grey settle thick and dark over the clay, less a drift, more a dense veil of smoke that has fully taken hold. Its tall, rounded form rises from a small footed base, gathering into a softly undulating rim pinched into a gentle pour spout at one edge.

Where the other Fumée pieces let color move and separate, Suie holds its shadow close, a quiet, weighty presence built for the stillness before the whisk begins its work.

As each piece is hand-thrown and individually glazed, no two bowls are exactly alike. Variations in glaze depth and tone are part of each piece's character, not a flaw in it.

Finish: Glossy light blue and blue-grey glaze, hand-layered for depth and movement

Material: Durable dark brown stoneware clay, fired at Cone 6 — 2,232°F (1,220°C)

To preserve the longevity of your pieces, hand wash only with a mild soap. Avoid sudden changes in temperature.
